Herbal Creatures is a 100% family-owned and operated company, based in sunny Port Macquarie on the New South Wales Mid North Coast. Born from a deep respect for botanical tradition, Herbal Creatures emerged after veterinary clinics across Australia began reaching out to our Founder and Chief Herbalist, Simon Feeney, seeking access to high-quality herbal products for their furry clients.

Simon has travelled extensively, studying and documenting ancient manuscripts and traditional herbal formulas from around the world. A highly trained and qualified Chinese Medicine practitioner with over 20 years of experience working with herbs, Simon founded Herbal Creatures’ parent company, Empirical Health, in 2011. Empirical Health supplies handcrafted herbal blends to practitioners and is recognised for sourcing exceptional quality, highly tested, certified organic Chinese herbs. It remains the first and only supplier of certified organic Chinese herbs in Australia.

As word spread about the uncompromising quality and integrity behind Empirical Health’s sourcing and formulation standards, demand grew for a dedicated range created specifically for animals. Herbal Creatures was established to meet that call. The range draws from traditional botanical formulas that have been respected and refined over thousands of years, thoughtfully adapted for our furry companions.
