Herbal Creatures is a 100% family owned and operated company, located in sunny Port Macquarie, on the New South Wales Mid North Coast. Rooted in a passion for natural health, Herbal Creatures came about in response to veterinary clinics around Australia reaching out to our Founder and Chief Herbalist, Simon Feeney, in search of high quality herbal products for their furry clients.

Simon, who has travelled the globe studying and documenting ancient manuscripts and traditional herbal formulas, is a highly trained and qualified Chinese Medicine Physician. With over 20 years' experience as a herbal medicine practitioner, Simon launched Herbal Creature’s parent company Empirical Health, in 2011. Empirical Health supplies highly quality, hand crafted herbal blends to practitioners (for their less furry human clients). Empirical Health’s expertise is in sourcing and supplying exceptional quality, highly tested and certified organic Chinese herbs. Empirical Health is the first and only supplier of certified organic herbs in Australia.

Word on the “animal lover” street was that Empirical Health had the highest quality herbs and most effective formulations, and hence, Herbal Creatures was born. The Herbal Creatures product range was developed to meet the key issues we face in nurturing our furry friends. The range has been adapted from traditional formulas that have been used for thousands of years to optimise health and wellbeing.
